In a major opportunity for government job aspirants in Madurai, the District Employment and Career Guidance Centre has launched free coaching classes for competitive examinations including TNPSC Group-I, SSC CGL, and RRB Group-D. The initiative has been introduced following the release of official notifications for TNPSC Group-I Prelims on June 23, 2026, and SSC CGL 2026 on May 21, 2026. The coaching is being conducted at the District Employment Office in K. Pudur, Madurai, aiming to strengthen candidates’ preparation and improve their chances of securing government employment.
The free coaching classes are being organized through the Volunteer Study Circle functioning under the Employment Department. Officials said that the centre has been consistently offering guidance for various competitive examinations, helping thousands of aspirants prepare systematically. Expert trainers and subject specialists have been engaged to deliver the sessions, focusing on exam-oriented strategies, syllabus coverage, and time management techniques.
Candidates interested in joining the coaching sessions have been asked to visit the office directly with a copy of their Aadhaar card and a passport-size photograph. Registration is currently open, and eligible aspirants can enroll without any fee. Authorities said the initiative is aimed at supporting economically weaker candidates who aspire to enter public service.
