Ajithkumar’s Death Near Tiruppuvanam Causes Shockwaves in Tamil Nadu
Ajithkumar, who worked as a security guard at the Madappuram temple near Tiruppuvanam in Sivaganga district, died after being brutally assaulted by special task force police officers. This incident has sent shockwaves across Tamil Nadu.
Following this, the Madurai Bench of the High Court took up the case and ordered an investigation led by Madurai District Judge John Sundarlal Suresh. As part of this process, a judicial inquiry is being conducted today in Tiruppuvanam.

These relief measures were personally handed over by Tamil Nadu Minister K.R. Periyakaruppan. The event was attended by District Collector K. Porkodi, MLA Tamilarasi, and several local body representatives.
Additionally, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin spoke over the phone with Ajithkumar’s mother and brother, conveying his deep condolences and support.
