The Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple, one of India’s most revered spiritual destinations, has announced a change in temple timings ahead of the Margazhi month. With thousands of devotees visiting from across the country and abroad, special arrangements are being made for the festive season.
From December 16 to January 15, the temple will conduct Thiruppalli Ezhuchi Pooja every morning. The ritual of offering Thirugnana Paal will take place at the Thirugnanasambandar Sannidhi during the early hours.
To accommodate the special Margazhi ceremonies, the outer gopuram gates will open at 3:30 AM daily, according to the temple administration.
