The Southern Railway has announced the operation of weekly special trains between Okha (Gujarat) and Madurai (Tamil Nadu) for the convenience of passengers.
According to the press release issued by the Southern Railway:
🔹 Train No. 09520 – Okha to Madurai (Weekly Express):
- Departure Dates: November 3, 10, 17, 24 (Mondays)
- Departure Time: 11:00 PM from Okha
- Arrival Dates: November 6, 13, 20, 27 (Thursdays)
- Destination: Madurai Junction
🔹 Train No. 09519 – Madurai to Okha (Weekly Special):
- Departure Dates: November 7, 14, 21, 28 (Fridays)
- Departure Time: 4:00 PM from Madurai
- Arrival Dates: November 9, 16, 23, 30 (Sundays)
- Destination: Okha
🔸 Coach Composition:
The special train will include –
- 1 AC Two-Tier Coach
- 3 AC Three-Tier Coaches
- 10 Sleeper Coaches
- 4 General Second-Class Coaches
- 2 Divyangjan (Differently-Abled) Coaches
🔸 Important Stops:
The train will halt at Kodaikanal Road, Dindigul, Manapparai, Tiruchirappalli, Srirangam, Villupuram, Tiruvannamalai, Vellore, Katpadi, Renigunta, and other key stations en route.
