Major Achievements

• Founded by Mrs. Premalatha Panneerselvam and Mr. Panneerselvam in 1983 at Ranga Bhavan.
• In 1989, the school moved to its own building on Gopalakrishnan land, KK Nagar.
• Due to the demand for quality education in residential areas, a new campus was established at the foothills of Alagarkoil, 20 km from Madurai.
• In 1992, our second day school was opened at Surveyor Colony, Madurai (Mahatma Baba Building).
• In 2005, Mahatma Montessori School became the first private school in Madurai affiliated with CBSE, New Delhi.
• In 2008, Mahatma Global Gateway was established in Madurai, affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, paving the way for world-class education.
• In 2016, Mahatma Global Gateway partnered with Cambridge International Education to offer the prestigious Cambridge International curriculum.
• In 2017, Mahatma Montessori School affiliated with CBSE was inaugurated at Alagarkoil, Madurai, catering to both residential boys and day school students.
