A special HPV vaccination camp was conducted on Tuesday at Madurai Government Medical College by the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology to prevent cervical cancer and five other related cancers, benefiting 1,500 undergraduate and postgraduate medical students with free immunization. The initiative was organized under the leadership of Dean Arul Sundaresan Kumar and inaugurated by District Cancer Prevention Programme Director Rotarian Vandana Palla, aiming to emphasize early vaccination and cancer prevention among young adults.
