In a powerful and emotional address at the TVK (Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam) party conference, party leader Vijay stirred up massive anticipation among his supporters as he openly declared his political stance for the upcoming 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections.
Addressing the crowd with fiery passion, Vijay said,
“BJP is our ideological enemy, and DMK is our political rival. This election is only between us and the DMK.”
He strongly criticized the central government, questioning:
“Did Prime Minister Modi come to power to help the people or to conspire against Muslims?”
He further emphasized,
“I will never be part of a slave alliance. BJP’s ideology will never gain ground in Tamil Nadu.”
Vijay then emotionally thanked his supporters, stating:
“For 30 years, you’ve held me up with your love and support. You are a divine gift to me. How can I forget the people who stood by me?”
He added that it is this sense of gratitude that has now pushed him into politics.
Amid roaring cheers from the crowd, Vijay revealed that TVK’s candidate list for the 2026 elections will be announced soon. But what took everyone by surprise was his next line:
“Madurai East candidate – Vijay. Madurai South – Vijay. Tirupparankundram – Vijay. Melur – Vijay. Cholavandan – Vijay…”
He concluded by saying,
“In all 234 constituencies across Tamil Nadu, I myself will be the face of our movement!”
This sparked thunderous applause and chants among his supporters.
Vijay’s bold political statements and emotional connection with the people signal a significant shift in Tamil Nadu’s political landscape. With this fiery launch, he has clearly positioned TVK as a major contender in the 2026 elections, setting the stage for a high-stakes battle.
