Darshan Timings Modified at Azhagar, Tallakulam and Vandiyur Temples

In view of the commencement of the Margazhi month, the temple administration has announced temporary changes in the opening and closing timings of major temples in Madurai district. The revised schedule will be in effect from December 16, 2025, to January 13, 2026.

Azhagar Temple – Revised Timings

  • Temple opens at 4:00 AM
  • Closes at 12:00 noon
  • Reopens at 3:30 PM
  • Closes for the day at 7:00 PM

Tallakulam and Vandiyur Perumal Temples – Revised Timings

  • Temple opens at 5:00 AM
  • Closes at 11:30 AM
  • Reopens at 5:00 PM
  • Closes for the day at 8:30 PM

The changes have been made to facilitate early morning darshan for devotees during the spiritually significant Margazhi month. Devotees are requested to take note of the revised timings and plan their visits accordingly.
