To Protect Tamil Heritage – Massive Protest on June 18!
In a strong condemnation of the Union BJP government’s attempts to suppress the heritage and scientific foundations of Tamil culture, the DMK Students’ Wing has announced a massive protest to be held on June 18 at 10:00 AM at Veerakanur Ring Road, Madurai.
Despite scientific evidence proving the antiquity of Tamil civilization through the Keeladi excavations, the central government continues to ignore and avoid acknowledging these findings. In response, Students’ Wing Secretary Mr. R. Rajeev Gandhi has called upon students and the public to participate in large numbers in this protest.
As Minister Thangam Thennarasu rightly stated, “It is our duty to change the minds that deny the truth!” This protest stands as a revolutionary movement to assert the rights and traditions of the Tamil people and to proclaim them to the world with pride.
