It has been officially announced that public darshan at the world-famous Meenakshi Sundareswarar Temple in Madurai will be suspended from 6 PM on July 13 to the night of July 14.

On July 14, during this event, the Panchamoorthis (the five main idols) will be brought in procession from Tirupparangunram to the temple. Afterwards:
From the early hours of July 15, the public will be allowed to visit the temple for darshan as usual.
