In a cheerful announcement for the people of Madurai, the district administration has confirmed that the Government Exhibition 2026 at Tamukkam Grounds will be inaugurated on June 14, 2026, at 5 PM. District Collector P. Akash stated that the exhibition will run for 45 days, aiming to create awareness among the public about various welfare schemes and government initiatives. The event is expected to attract large crowds with a mix of public service stalls and entertainment features.
The inauguration ceremony will be attended by Energy and Law Minister C.D.R. Nirmal Kumar, who will officially open the exhibition and deliver the keynote address. School Education, Tamil Development, Information and Publicity Minister Rajmohan will distribute welfare assistance to beneficiaries, while Higher Education Minister P. Viswanathan will deliver a special address. Members of Parliament, MLAs, local body representatives, and senior government officials are also expected to participate.
